If it were not for the cheating bama refs i mean "sec" refs bama wouldnt have had half of those points pass int. Was never called on bama neither was holding offense or defense. See we can both play this game

Alabama finished dead last in the FBS in opponent penalty yards per game. Refs called only 32 yards per game on Alabama's opponents. LINK
Bloomberg
And we all know who the underdog is in an Alabama-Arkansas game. Maybe if y'all would nut up instead of bitching about the refs all the time, you would win something.
Now run along little pig.

Some of the study’s conclusions defy more-cynical views. For instance, teams favored by Vegas tended to get significantly more discretionary calls against them than underdogs. Ref-baiters might be distressed to learn that the SEC—winners of eight of the last 10 national titles—appears to have the least biased officials.

While SEC officials are the least biased in the Power 5, they have shown a soft spot for underdogs

Bama escapes being penalized at critical times, like when they couldn't score a TD against LSU last year, took a blatant holding call for them to score a TD. Weird how that happens.
Ain't Nicks fault!

You're shifting the goal posts. Do you know what that means?
When I say that Alabama benefits from bad officiating, you counter by saying their opponents are least penalized.
It isn't a valid rebuttal.
Can you tell me why?

14-1.
Uh, Bayless tries to hard.

Hell, that basically happened to Arkansas twice last season
Not even close Pork Pie. Imagine if Arkansas never even went to the free throw line in a game for all the marbles. I doubt you would take it lying down.
If what happened to Bama happened to a team in a basketball there would be a public furor and the refs would be investigated.
Apparently Bama's dominance has made such weak-willed, spineless pusses out of the rest SEC that they only live to see a Bama loss no matter what the circumstances.

A Fox Sports host puts a smack down on a SEC team, which is natural since he's a homer for the BIG 12. That sort of information belongs on the SEC Rant where it can be seen by all our brothers in the SEC and discussed.

I'm not shifting the goal posts. If we are bribing the NCAA which you implied, why the hell would officials call more penalities on Alabama (Alabama finished 47th in penalities per game by the way) than their opponents (128th) in games between the two teams? Those are some shitty bribes.
The Bloomberg study analyzed subjective calls like holding and found that SEC officials were the least likely to favor the Vegas favorite. Alabama is favored every game.
Do you have any actual evidence to suggest that the officials favor Alabama? You're trying to make the case that an average school in Alabama has rigged a massive industry in the NCAA.

I agree with Bayless. Alabama is not the best team in the country. They're still very damn good. Probably top 5, but considering their coaching turnover, and losses to the draft, I could not possibly say that they are the #1 team in the land.
Not when they just lost the NCG to a team that didn't just replace their coordinators and like 9 players to the draft.
Their secondary is suspect on top of all that. Two different teams torched their secondary last year for huge yardage.
I may put Washington above Alabama. Clemson as default #1 because Alabama has benefited from this ranking style for a decade now.
Anyways, Alabama is preseason top 5 in my eyes and may not lose a single damn game.
What's real funny is this thread going 4 pages of meglamoniacal douchebags getting pissy because someone dared to call Alabama anything but the best.
Worst fanbase in the country

I feel like Bayless just retweets this after any Alabama loss.

I question whether Bama's a top 5 team. I honestly believe Aub, Ark and LSU have a good shot at beating them. There's also the sophomore jinx that tends to haunt SEC teams.

This is the sort of post that you expect from someone who made such poor life choices he is forced in work in septic tanks and backed up shutters to make ends meet.

I like 15-0
But 14-1 is really not that bad
At the end of the NC game in January we will see where we stack up.
And where L6U and Auburn go bowling, if at all.
