Apparently he was a star at AU's camp today, we offered and he committed on the spot. Not sure where he plays at for AU, probably either Buck or grows into a DE

You guys are usually good about getting that one kid who just shines and gets offered. Looks like a good pickup.

Led the state last year with 209 tackles. 9th highest total in state history.
Kid knows how to play football. But you know else was a tackling machine in HS? I'll give you a hint, he was also white.
But this kid actually looks like a player. Holland always looked pretty stumpy and unathletic

Looks like we are attempting a Tuberville class this cycle. Try and nab 3 or 4 studs and fill the rest of the class with chip on their shoulder guys from Alabama, Georgia, Florida

How so? Bunch of 3* solid recruits. Some with good offer lists and some with weak offer lists

My son played with him for 3 years, my son is a year older.
Y'all got not only an awesome player but an awesome young man.
He's one of those defenders with a nose for the ball. Seems like he was always making interceptions or stripping the ball.
He also returned punts and kicks for us. He's super fast and shifty. Look for him to play some type of RB/HB/TE role as a senior. Coach Adcock always takes his best senior defender and gives them some kind of role on offense.
His parents are ministers and he's very involved with the ministry and missions. He's a great student and really involved in activities at the school.
I'm sure y'all will see his mohawked dad and very pretty mom at games in the future. His dad is super jacked too.

Just to give you Aubies some good news, Josh had 20 tackles against Asa Martin and Austin High last week.
I didn't go to the game last night but my daughter said he played awesome against Columbia.
FYI, Decatur SUCKS this year. Josh looks to be the lone bright star on a very young team.
I'll try to remember to keep y'all updated - Decatur's shittiness won't lead to the team getting much publicity this season.

Josh scored an offensive TD tonight in a loss against Athens. For homecoming.

Another offensive TD (40+ yards) tonight in a heart breaking loss to Florence.
It was also announced at the pep rally today he's been invited to play in the Alabama/Mississippi All Star Game.

I can't say I've checked him out enough to gauge if he's still growing height wise but he definitely looks more muscled up.
