Mostly because of a lot of assumptions. Everyone assumes Kirby will take a huge leap in year 2 like others have, and they assume Eason will be much better in year 2 like Stafford was.

I'm with the OP though. I'm not a UGA believer until I see it. But they East is so weak that any team who has improvement could completely dominate it.

If UGA is average, then it's still better than Tennessee and on par with Florida, with whom we'll battle for the sec east crown while Butch is unemployed and looking for dick to suck for a chicken nugget happy meal, you stupid bitch.

The real story here is that Tennessee's best team in a decade needed a Hail Mary to beat an average team

Tennessee was a little flat in that game. UGA was fired up.

Tennesse was still the better and more talented team whether they were flat or not

I think Kirby Smart put it best when he said one team had six players drafted while we had one.

Why is that so hard to believe?

There were at least 2 offensive holds on the Hail Mary. I'll provide a pic if you'd like. Refs gave UT that game. Volts had a veteran team whom many UT fans said would be NCs. Dawgs were young and got robbed in K'ville.

Dawgs are climbing, Vols are sinking.

It was a play that has a 3% success rate and Tenn got lucky.

Eason was clutch as frick on the final drive and you vols all knew it was over.

But, a win is a win. Enjoy your mediocrity while it lasts, you're about to be in the gutter for a decade.

I don't understand the love for Georgia this year.

They definitely have talent and they are returning 17 starters. That alone is a good enough reason to pick them in the mediocre SEC East.

UGA should be above average but a 4-4 conference record wouldn't be a shocker . UGA should be the favorite to win the east after UF . I can't see them doing any worse the 4-4 when they will have more talent then possibly every conference opponent.

Lord, you've skated on Muschamp and his players the last 2 years and yes,he was responsible for your last 2 SECe
titles.

Your recruiting was shite after he left and I don't care
how many Freshman "replacement players" helped you out
last year.

Hard not to be impressed with Mac winning the East with his offensive personnel in shambles. I think his first year as coach they pretty much had open tryouts on OL. Didnt matter won the East. Also without even average QB play.

From an outsiders perspective Mac has developed Muschamps defensive talent extremely well and gotten thr best out of a lack of talent on his offense. Nuss helps though. Good coach. Cant say the same for Chaney based on last year though.
