Can't include John David Crow or George Rogers in this list because their Heisman years predate their respective schools' membership into the SEC.
Doesn't matter. In this list of fourteen, I don't think either would crack my top ten IMHO.

I would probably go with...
First Tier
Herschel Walker 1982
Bo Jackson 1985
Cam Newton 2010
Tim Tebow 2007
Second Tier
Johnny Manziel 2012
Derrick Henry 2015
Mark Ingram 2009
Danny Wuerffel 1996
George Rogers 1980
Third Tier, or Lack of visibility to me personally
Pat Sullivan 1971,
Steve Spurrier 1966
Frank Sinkwich, 1942
Billy Cannon 1959
John David Crow 1957
Honestly, I think you could just about flip a coin among any in the first tier but I really think Herschel was the greatest back the SEC has ever had. Bo had tremendous athletic ability but if they were both available in the same draft I would take Herschel. But hey, that's just me. There are no duds on this list.

Billy Cannon gets fricked
All Sec sprinter
All Sec in shot put
Heisman trophy winner
He tells herschel and Bo to get on his level athletically

The problem with this argument is that there is a context of competition. I think you actually could make this argument about Ingram but the field was very weak that year. IMHO Henry absolutely deserved it and even though the competition was stronger, he also came up HUGE in big games down the stretch and earned it.
So in my mind, it is rather difficult to make this statement without a candid discussion of who deserved it more, and clearly so. That's a very tough thing to do for both of those years.

I agree with your first point. Your second one? Pass that shite to the left

Saban Heisman whored Henry out like a $5 back alley whore, Fournette deserved that Heisman and if not him than Mccaffrey.
Yes Fournette, had a bad end of the season but Henry had 2 more games than Fournette...1st game of the season and the SEC Championship. People who say Henry is better are hysterical.

While I respect Billy Cannon's accomplishments, claiming that he was on the same level athletically as Bo and Herschel is well nigh epic insanity.
[And that is even with giving up a little bit of home town team homer latitude]

Pass that shite to the left
He also threw the heavy shot put 57.4. This is all in the 50s with no training
The dude was a freaky freak on the levels of Bo and Herschel

I'll take Bo as 1. I was just a little Bama fan when he was playing, but he amazed me. He may be my favorite player of all time, college or pro
