So I am watching the Rice coach amble out to the mound a couple of times in one inning. How much longer can he go? Fun fact though: he designed the classic R that is on the Rice caps. Not sure about the other sports.

Baseball is made for playing on dirt. I don't like the turf around our home plate but I understand why we do it but entire fields with that carpet crap should be for northern climates.

I can understand turf for cost savings since baseball doesn't break even most places. The basepaths, mound, and home plate area should be dirt. No excuses.

Had to quit watching Houston games. The fat idiot with the big mouth sitting just behind batter's box has ruined the TV experience. I am surprised that someone sitting in the area hasn't punched him in his big mouth yet.
