Shoutout to Auburn for paying 7 figures to the Liberty Flames for the chance to play them in 2018. This gives Liberty the much needed cash to pay the powerhouse Old Dominion 1.32 million to play them at home for their 2017 season opener.

Sorry we're not poor like MSU and have to travel to Mobile for a chance to split the home and home with USA.

@Middle Tennessee State
(All that's just in the Mullen tenure)

Although, you are right with the terrible scheduling ,which I can't argue, I always love the chance to prove you wrong. We have played TWO P5's, 2009 Ga Tech and 2013 OK State, in the non-conference during Mullen's tenure.

Other than football, Auburn really aint shite. Even in football, they are inconsistent. Auburn has one of the top 50 basketball players of all time in Barkley but didn't won shite. They also had one of the best baseball player of all time in Thomas and couldn't win shite. You got lucky with Cam and that's about it.

You think MSU would sell us their home game the next few years ? Makes financial sense to MSU and it would give AU a chance to play a legit non-conference schedule.

Inconsistently elite (which isn't even really true, we are a top 15 all-time program by every measure) is a hell of a lot better than being consistently shite like Mississippi State
