Is that the longest 3rd down and _____ in NCAA history?

Still wonder if the whole team was hung over that game. That was the game thet kicked off both halves too. It was a comedy act that was for sure.

Florida has some trouble with the Mississippi schools.
Since 2000, Florida has a .500 record against both Mississippi State and Ole Miss.

Rex Grossman will always go deep. 3rd and 57 just makes it easier to excuse the long ball. Long reign the Sex Cannon.

They should have gone for it. Stranger things have happened. Could you imagine Jackie Sherrill's reaction if Florida were to convert a 3rd and 57?

That was an incident of Spurrier getting too cute for his own good. Just run a draw and punt.

Yeah that made no sense. It classic Spurrier, though. He loved to go into "frick it" mode. frick it give them 2 points we're good enough to go down 10 and come back. (They didn't, though)

I remember those days when they showed Spurrier after just about every play. That was the beginning of coach cam. They wanted to show visor throwing so much, it became a sport of its own.
