People who shop at Publis are pretty much paying a premium for the "atmosphere" while they shop. I don't know what kind of self respecting man would pay for that.

Give me as shitty of a grocery store as possible with super low prices.

This is taking it too far. I'll pay a slight premium for fast lines, quality/fresh produce/meat and the grocery store to be clean/organized/stocked shelves.

For example, I don't shop at Walmart for groceries because that place sucks at all 3 + is farther from my house


The difference in "atmosphere" from Kroger/Winn Dixie to Publix is marginal at best and very clearly not worth the premium they charge. Only time I shop there is because it takes me <1min to drive from house to parking lot for quick trips.
