Dude scratched John 3:16 into his forehead. Am I the only one who actually feels a little sorry for this guy?

I get it. He murdered another guy. There are an awful lot of awful people who get treated as good people. The worst among us are generally the best posers. We are quick to judge. Dude seemed tormented to me.

Everybody makes mistakes. Some are worse than others.

The time for humans to judge him is past. He will be judged by something greater now.

There's a solid chance he was at least complicit in more than one murder. And was heavily involved in gang violence.

Yet, he was given every opportunity to walk away from that life. He had money, had a way to "get out" with his talent, and pissed it all away.

The only people I feel sorry for is the families of his victim (potentially plural) and his daughter.

ETA: I'm also not real sure he killed himself either.

I'm glad he killed himself. Best possible outcome.

How could a killer strangle Hernandez, duck out, then happen to stuff shite on the side of the door of his room?

Cmon, he killed himself.

frick hernandez and op. Regret over multiple murders garners little sympathy. Was exodus 20:13 not available?

I will neither celebrate his death or feel sorry for him.

I think his situation is very sad and confusing; he didn't grow up on the "streets", he wasn't in a gang growing up, he came from a two-parent household with a very strong support system but he shrugged all that off to seek out a violent life among some of the worst that society has to offer. It is a senseless waste of talent; a lot of people spend their entire lives trying to escape that lifestyle, yet Hernandez sought it out.

I do not mourn the man, but I do not think his death should be celebrated, either.

I pity him and hope that he righted himself with God before the end. It is easy to love the people who deserve it.

I try not to hate anyone, but that doesn't work out very well. At the same time, I have zero sympathy for him.
