NOLA. Our problems are easily fixed. Theirs... not so much.

New Orleans is at least a fun place to visit.

Apparently not, since NOLA has a SB.

I'll go ahead and nominate Memphis as well for the same problems as New Orleans.

That's subjective. It's fun if that's what you're into. I love Atlanta and have plenty of fun.

Braves have a World Series though.

Sports don't matter nearly as much as corruption and such.

Does Jackson, MS qualify as a city?

I am fun. I've just never been into NOLA. I'd take it all day over Memphis, St. Louis, etc but I'm not going out of my way to go there.
Not to mention that far more people visit Atlanta than NOLA.

SEC towns would narrow pretty easily to Columbia, MO and Baton Rouge.

Monty just sucks and is boring. Not near as dysfunctional as the others listed.

Jackson isn't a travel hot spot but it is no where near as bad as New Orleans or Memphis when it comes to crime and visible corruption (there is plenty of behind the scenes corruption in every southern state when the "good ol'baws" get together to divide up the pie).

The 2018 SEC basketball tournament says otherwise.

New Orleans has the WWII Museum, though.
So
I nominate Cullman County,AL. as most dysfunctional
