I visited the Citadel once my senior year of college, and was asking them about grad school. I think they saw my undergrad transcript and they were like "Uh, yeah, we're so happy you came by to visit, so..."

On that same trip, I tried to drive out to one of the coastal islands, and it was right after Hugo, and the cops stopped me. Said lots of looting in the area so I apologized said I'd turn back and leave and they let me go. They saw my six pack of beer in the seat and still let me go. Thanks Carolina!

As a small child, we ate seafood on a boat in Charleston and I woke up puking bad shrimp later that night in the hotel. I do not blame South Carolina for this.

I don't think I've ever been to a South Carolina strip joint

I'm kind of ashamed I've not visited SC more after having lived about 150 miles from there once

Been in Columbia once. Don't remember much. Why does my subconscious remember that it sort of looks like College Station? Ouch! Sorry Carolina

That's about it. Go Gamecocks!

Born and raised in SC.

Went to undergrad and law school at USC.

Still live in SC. I am proud to call the Palmetto State home.

Vacationed in Hilton Head and Charleston before. That's it.

I'd really like to go to an away football game in Columbia, but it won't happen for a long time since expansion ruined the schedule.

Born and raised in South Carolina.

Graduated from USC with a degree in Nursing.

Was a cheerleader for Carolina once upon a time.

Wouldn't live anywhere else after having spent a couple of years in Wilmington. NC is yankee carolina and I prefer home...in the true Carolina.

Spent some time at relaxin' Jackson. Earned my undergrad from USC and loved every minute of it. One of my favorite towns to visit.

Oddly enough I also love Spokane and it reminds me of Columbia but for the next week frick Gonzaga.

I moved to SC for residency after living my whole life in MS. It's not really much different.

Born and raised here in SC. I serve in the SC National Guard and love the fact that our TAG building is right across the road from Williams-Brice. Charleston is my favorite city because of the history.

Descended on both parent's side from English and Scottish immigrants, who settled in South Carolina in the 1700s.

Recently visited Cowpens battlefield, the site of a great Patriot victory, led by Brigadier General Daniel Morgan, over the British on January 17, 1781.

That same trip I drove over a loose block of concrete on a residential street just 3 blocks north of the Cracker Barrel in Greenville. Fortunately my car sustained only cosmetic damage

-My rich uncle retired to the town of Frogmore, SC on the lovely St. Helena Island.

-Their basketball team pooed on our basketball team this year.

-For the duration of 2017 if you'd like to know how long it's been since South Carolina beat Auburn in football all you have to do is ask elderly Rose from Titanic.
Rose, tell us how long it's been:

Born and raised in SC. Graduated in 06 with a degree in Psychology. Went to grad school in Boston for four years, but once I graduated I hauled back to SC to get married. Still live in SC to this day, but would consider moving if it was for Louisiana.

Ok that last sentence is mostly bait.

Fripp or Folly Beach

Same here. We went to Fripp at least four times a year until it was sold around 2000/01.

My lunatic ex-girlfriend was from Columbia, but she was a sidewalk Clemson fan. Does that count?

My great great great grandfather came through the port of Charleston from Ireland. I visited and it was cool to imagine him stepping off the boat there. My dad also lived in Columbia for a couple years, cool town.

Been in columbia once, didn't visit USC. As far as my experience with Gamecock fans, Ive found them to be great like most SEC fans. Roomed with a SC grad right out of college. Me n him are still friends, and he's a great dude. We roomed with two Chileans out in Colorado, and both of us being SEC grads, we practically became best friends.

When I was a kid, my folks would take us camping somewhere every summer. It was great.

My all time favorite place was Myrtle Beach. We stayed at a campground right on the beach. This was a long time ago and Myrtle Beach was nothing like it is now.

We went to a neat seafood place at Murrell's Inlet. It was in an old house with big trees with Spanish moss. I can't remember the name.

South Carolina gets a thumbs up from me.

When I was in the 2nd grade I learned about states in America, South Carolina was one of those.
