I asked Jerry Meyer was there any reason for us getting 2 CB picks for Kira since last night and he said he didn’t know, but maybe they received some new intel. Then I said thanks and maybe it’s good news for us since Kentucky hasn’t offered and then Jerry said this:

Keep your eye on CJ Walker. Idk what’s going on or how much interest he has in us, but I know the staff really wants him. We went after him awhile back and he liked Bama, but we stopped recruiting him for awhile

Maybe so. CJ may end up being better than Trendon anyways. Jerry Meyer called him a top 10 prospect in the 2019 class

Would be a very hard and impressive pull for us to stop recruiting him, re-recruit him, and still land a top 50 player this late in the game. Would be very surprised if it worked. Can't be good news on the Watford front.

He was second team. Quite a few people seemed to have voted him 1st team though such as SI
Trae Young is going to look like a Dallas Mavericks version of Steve Nahs. That is pretty good but not elite.

The problem with him is he’s not as consistent as someone like Collin. Collin will score in double digits every game. Trae will score double digits most games but will have a couple of terrible games. Trae will also have more points and assists in his best games compared to Collin’s best games tho
