Just looked at Watford's Twitter and saw something bleak: he pinned his tweet he made after his Memphis visit saying "I'll be back".
I won't be mad at him because it's hard to blame a player for chasing the money, but man would it suck to see a kid who was a big fan of the school and cheered them on every game for the past 2 years go to a different school because of it.

At least we are prepared for him to choose Memphis. Imagine the melt if we were expecting the commitment and he went elsewhere.
ETA: Not to mention, our staff wont be left sitting with their thumb up their arse. They know the situation and will have ample time to pursue others.

He also tagged huge Memphis target James Wiseman after they got paired together on the same AAU team and put the “big eyes” emoji like something was up. I’m gonna be sick if he goes to Memphis. We need to hope and pray Wiseman chooses Kentucky, bc he’s gonna recruit Watford to Memphis if he goes there

I don't think we should accuse Watford of just chasing money. Was it a rapid flip? Yes, but we don't really much other reason to believe money's why he's going there.

I'm kind of over it. As a one year player I don't think Watford is going to be great or anything.
I still say given the choice between Watford for 1 season and Timme for 2-4 seasons, I'd want Timme. If Timme develops an outside shot, he'll be unstoppable on offense. He's skilled like Fleming but a much better athlete.

On multiple occasions, the dude pulled our games up online to watch us play a nobody over the past 3 years. The school that just hired two former AAU guys to the staff flipped him less than 2 months. Like I said, I don't blame the kid. If a guy like Brian Bowen (a 5-star ranked 19th in his class) costs Louisville 100k, could you imagine what he could get from Penny and staff at Memphis? It's hard to turn down that kind of money. There's no guarantee you make it to the NBA and securing as much money as you can at the collegiate level really isn't a bad idea.

I'd rather have 2-3 year type players as off ball guards and wings, but give me 1 and done PGs and bigs every day.

Didn't like the blocking foul on Collin in OT and they missed the hell out of that out of bounds call that really iced the game. Sexton did look very good though. The announcers have really loved him throughout all these games.
