It was probably closer to 10 years ago. I remember they built an indoor football practice facility. The story I heard is they didn't build it big enough for the FG kicker to practice so they converted that one into indoor track and field and built a 2nd one next to it. Assuming that story is true, I would think there are some issues with the current track and field facility not actually being designed for indoor track and field.

No. I was in high school. That's what everyone was saying at the time. My mom (who worked at the association of former students) told me they messed up the football facility so they re purposed it and built a new one. Not 100% sure its true.
