frick Crean. I'm all in for Keatts. He is young, he can recruit, and he can coach. I really think he can build something here.

Either one would be a good hire, IMO.
Crean took over basically the same type of job at IU and has done a pretty good job building them back.

When will I (we) learn? I can see where once again the misguided blind optimistic hopes will once again come crashing down. When it comes to recruiting blue chip coaches OR players history has shown it is best to lower down expectations to what we should objectively believe to be reasonable than get lathered up over "prom queen" we really never had a chance at obtaining. Honestly, U think we would EVER pony up 5 mill or anywhere close to land ANY coach in ANY sport??? Against my reactive nature of positive daydream scenarios am trying to battle myself to just expect the worst(history tells us this) and hope for the best(pleasant surprise)

Laugh all U want JQ. Just keeping it "hundred" from the reality side of the Black&Gold stands. I have probably claimed allegiance to, followed and bled B&G for more years than U have been alive (just guessing you are under 40). So, before you get it twisted and cast aspersions on MY FANDOM, I suggest you take the time to look back at the big picture and come back at me with objective verifiable data that would refute my rationale of "more objective reasonable expectations"

I'd be more then happy with a Keatts hire also... He's a solid recruiter, and will make a great HC for someone.... Has anyone even heard any chatter regarding Keatts?

Crean is 5 years older than Keatts. If you want young Richard Pitino should be your guy. He will only be 35 when next season starts. Or from the mid major ranks Wade and McCall are young.
