Alabama's is more established. Don't think we've had ours long enough to have a good handle on how it will stack up.

ETA: Engineering schools are set to abide by the ABET standard, and as a result its going to be more or less what you should expect with any other ABET institution. Basically, UGA's engineering program is more or less just like any other engineering school, including Tech's.

I have not hired a UGA Engineer yet. Have not had one come across my desk to be honest. I have hired Bama grads, but from the business school. Hired more Auburn Engineers and Construction MGT. Most of them are solid. Have a number of UGA grads with biz and other random degrees. Some of my best guys are honesty ones with random degrees who had good experience and people skills along with a great work ethic. My Tech guys are good Engineers tho. Just need to keep their contact with Owners to a min..

From everything I’ve read about his family life and how he respects their decision making I’m inclinded to think he’s coming to Ga. It may be his decision but I bet Mom wins this one.
