For a heated argument with a hospital worker? What could that be about? Does he have some medical issue that may impact his career? Seems really bizarre.

That sucks. Everything I ever read and heard about him was the opposite of stuff like this.

Maybe he just got frustrated because of some bad news he received. But this is out of the ordinary.

Details emerge on why Alabama LB Reuben Foster was reportedly sent home from NFL Combine | SEC Country
quote:
News broke Friday night that Alabama linebacker Reuben Foster was sent home from the NFL Combine, and more details emerged about what reportedly took place Saturday morning.
According to Robert Klemko of the Monday Morning Quarterback, Foster “grew impatient with long lines for (medical) exams” and “pulled the ‘do you know who I am’ card.”
As Klemko states, the male hospital employee told Foster he would have to wait in line like everyone else. That’s when Foster reportedly warned the man that he’d “put hands on him.”
That lead to the heated face-to-face exchange that ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Friday night.
Due to injury, Foster wasn’t participating in any drills, but attended the combine for medical examinations and meetings with NFL personnel.
It’s truly amazing to think about how far Foster has come as a prospect. Early on, he was a hard-hitting linebacker who didn’t tackle properly. He often lowered his head, which would leave him injured.
Foster kept his hard-hitting ways but improved his technique to develop into the best inside linebacker in the country.
Foster took home the Butkus Award after leading Alabama’s defense this past season.
Foster is considered by many to be a top-10 prospect. ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. had Foster going No. 9 overall to the Cincinnati Bengals in his latest mock draft.

Wow he probably cost himself some money. Selfishly I hope he falls to the Raiders because of it.

That card has very little weight if you have to use it.
I do hope it keeps him out of Cincinnati.

Ruben was probably already in a foul mood as I read his interviews didn't go well. Then to have some medical guy poking and prodding you like meat on the hoof. I'd probably get pissed off too.

I hope he learns from this.
Ryan Anderson said that the wait was a little frustrating but he knew that it was just a part of it.
It's a shame but some of these guys that do so great at Alabama, within the environment that Coach Saban has created, don't do as great without those boundaries.

Are you aware of some of these guys backgrounds? Playing at Bama under Saban is the most structure a lot of these guys ever had.
