So, what kind of ads is everyone getting form the new "Site SPonser" bot that the mongotards in charge of this site have allowed to post once per thread page?
I'm getting ads for golf lessons, and used cars.

There used to be Corn Dog 7's in Georgia. I remember them at malls in the 90's.

I did not know where all they were but my recollection was that they had a lot more stores than they do now and as you point out they were always located in shopping malls. There's been a definite decline in the number of stores over the years.

The way I remember it, they had two types of customers...
1. Dad's with kids while mommy getting a pedi
2. Stoners
How can you go wrong? I hope a book is written about them someday. As an awkward adolescent, I always enjoyed a big brown 7 inch meat stick in my mouth at the mall.

I've got no hard lipped woman
naggin at who I should be.
The blue lights rounding the corner
their not turning for no one like me
Got a bucket of fried on the bench
Beside me
Nuff chicken for one man's needs
Life's been getting a little bit greasy lately
Been swingin' from tree to tree
I loooove my chicken!!
In the treeees

RDdawg, One crucial thing about winning bbq-off trophies , supposedly, is task management. If you need the KFC thread to create a music playlist for you, so you can focus on other priorities, just say the word.

Do it and we'll get it going for the team.
On another note, my expectations for hot women down there aren't all that high. The BBQ and bluegrass crowd aren't exactly like the Oysterfest gang.Regardless, should be some excellent swine, sides, brew and music.

I wanna tell you about KFC Radio and the big beat....
This is the land where the Colonel died.
Cool and slow. With plenty of precision.

Ha Ha, I worked many small budget and most all lost $$$$ as I believe the business is controlled by a very few and the industry is all just an elaborate tax dodge. Worked on a 200 million dollar one and I will be damned to figure out how they spent more than 25 - 50 million to make it.
Either the producers made massive profits while "booking" losses or it was a shell to fund several other pictures in the future that could not get the green light at the time.
If you want a theme with the best chance of making any money I would suggest a low budget zombie movie that with a few edits could just as well be a bad porn movie. While nothing to be proud of, you may at least get your money back.

The Production company is the one that takes the loss though, right? If the movie tanks, I won't even know because I'll be on my new boat in the Caribbean that I bought with the money they paid me for the script. Unless they make me go to the premier and do interviews as part of the contract. In which case, I'd leave for the Caribbean when those were done.

CheeseGrits, Do you believe in the death penalty?
I saw this documentary series about it a few days ago that's haunting the shite out of me.
You see the window in the pic? That's where the family of the person about to die watches from. And theres a window on the other side where the victim's family watches from. And they let the person talk right before the executioner squeezes down on the syringe plunger. And there's 12 people somewhere that got picked for jury duty that aren't physically touching the syringe, but they might as well be. And maybe they're right to have done it, but that's heavy shite man.

Litigator, Have you ever been part of a case that sent someone to the electric chair?

CheeseGrits, Do you believe in the death penalty?
In EKY "he needed killing" was a valid legal defense up until at least the late 1970's and early 1980's and with many family members in the state I tend to agree with this premise. I knew some serial killers that were caught and rolled up in their mattresses in jail and set on fire. Official cause of death was listed as suicide.
Maybe in other states like CA (Manson is still alive and living on the taxpayer) they do not believe but in KY it seems cost effective to just get it over and use that $$$$ on education, affordable housing, or more parkland. Where I have the problem is at what level do you hang em high?
#1 Hang em high for serial killers and drug lords
#2 Charge up "Old Sparky" for folks like Madoff and mid level drug folks
#3 Give the needle to legal drug folks (like the ones who made billions addicting EKY on their legal drugs) and billionaire crooks in DC and Wall Street instead of 6 moths home arrest and full pardons (deterrent to the real crooks in suits)
#4 Disembowel, draw, and quarter bad lawyers and bad politicians and add putting their severed head on a pole at the county line for beltway profiteers who earned more than 500 times the working wage of the average american who must pay for their feeding at the taxpayer trough.
After that is would be case by case with damn near airtight cases to get killed. Brutal crimes would demand brutal death and less brutal crimes would mean long stretches breaking rock as indentured servants of the state to help defray their cost of incarceration.
Why do you ask?
