How about you do the overall record since the gulps like to count their 9000 championships that date back to 1865. 60-41-4. Pretty good overall record.

No, any student athlete that receives immunity for their "testimony" is only questioned about the school that is specifically being investigated.
Now, if the NCAA wanted to they could open up another investigation on any institution they want too but it would have nothing to do with said student's recruitment from another university.
IE. If they decided to investigate state they would have to find some other way to tie state to cheating other than just Leo Lewis and his comments.
Unfortunately, for Ole Miss, the NCAA found the perfect school to hammer on a little bit in the SEC to show they still do have some teeth. After all the sh** they caught for botching the Miami investigation they needed a rebound scape goat. Ole Miss just happened to be the school that screwed up first.

The only way it will hurt the SEC is if it goes back to the way it was around or before 20 years ago, with everyone rolling over on everyone else and half the conference on probation.
My guess is that is exactly what Ole Miss is trying to do, and if the unfounded report about Leo Lewis turns out to be true, it's proof-positive.
Teams on probation in the 90's (or stemming from violations in the 90's):
Alabama
Auburn
Arkansas
Florida
Georgia
Kentucky
Ole Miss
MSU
Tennessee
It was also during this time, and the issues faced by multiple programs within the conference, that allowed other teams outside of the conference to take national prominence.
So, there is a precedent. It's not like this hasn't happened before.
