These are all just opinions and everyone's entitled. Tech has finished ranked in the top ten a total of one time since the turn of the century (8th in '14). If that's who you want to call UGA's biggest rival, our opinions differ.

Do you not think that Auburn or TN players have taken pieces of hedge before?
Beating Tech would usually make us the best team in the state. Beating TN and FL would usually us the best team in the division. Beating LSU/AU/Bama might make us the best team in the SEC/Country.
Auburn, TN, and UF are our biggest rivals. Tech's a pest.

For me Tech is the easiest to piss me off, Auburn is my favorite to make fun of, and uf is the one who's name I don't want to mention (notice I don't capitalize uf).

For me living out in the desert, I see nothing but Gaytor and Vol fans. So from my standpoint it's always gonna be UF then Vols.

It is without a doubt tech. You want to be disposed as the HC of UGA, get beat by tech often.
We have been through Fla and TN handing us our arse over an extended period of time. Let tech rise to that dominance and it is not going to go well.
Our record vs tech has been pretty good over the last 20 years which masks the important of the game.
Smart needs to win that game this year.

Cobb simply doesn't want them to feel satisfaction of uga acknowledging the rivalry? That's some deep down hate. It's so much hate, he refuses to admit it exists.

If our goal is to be the best team in the state of Georgia, then Tech is our biggest rival.
If our goal is to be the best team in the SEC East, then UF and UT are our biggest rivals.
If our goal is to be the best team in the SEC/Country, then UF, UT, AU, Bama, LSU, are our biggest rivals.

If you don't own the state, you own nothing. The sec title would become empty with a loss the week before. The sec would be known as a joke if it's champ lost to tech. Not even a sec title came remove the stain of a loss to tech.

bama fans have never really hated auburn recently they just want to show them who's boss. I can't say the same for auburn fans though. Think of bama being Thor and aubie being Loki.
