Source confirms that Steve Sarkisian is all but certain to be named the #Falcons next offensive coordinator. Announcement forthcoming.

I wouldn't be disappointed to lose him, but it'd be a dick move after Saban took a chance on him.

If he leaves, he should go down as our worst OC of all time- one game, one shite show

If he bails now after Saban gas him a shot when nobody would touch time that is pretty shitty.

Somethings not right internally if this happens.

I have nightmares of Locksley being the main OC...

My first thought was that this was a joke to show the similarities of neither team running the ball enough and it costing them both a Championship.

Having said that, who knows?

Not really mad if true. Our new recruiting class is already in and we will get a solid replacement. No worries

Good for him. Bama will just find another OC. It's not the end of the world.

Talk about a guy who keeps falling upward. OC at USC during the start of their decline, gets UW head job. Goes 5 games over .500 at Washington, gets USC head job. Alcoholic at USC, turns into Bama OC within a year. Calls a terrible NC, gets Falcons OC job.

This will bite the falcons in the arse. He will have more freedom and more of a chance to relapse than with saban 10 ft up his arse.

I won't be disappointed if we hire a good OC that returns us a little more toward our smash-mouth roots. But, I expect us to keep the same offense. Saban thinks that because this style is HIS Achilles heal, that it's the hardest to defend for everyone. I'm not sure that's true. I think the '12 offense would do just fine with '17 talent.
