Reggie Perry has de-committed.

This is why I quit following recruiting, no matter they say it is all lies.

I'm going to laugh my fricking arse off when he goes to UNC/Kentucky/Kansas/Duke and he had that message from when he committed saying Arkansas is his KY/Duke/Kansas etc for over a year pinned on his Twitter.

His level of potential outgrew Arkansas.

Going from top 70 player to top 15 and it was over for us.

Way too many voices in AAU circles and hoops overall steering the top players.

From the reports I've read it was because of his fathers health.

I have no reason to believe otherwise. Good luck to the kid.

Hate to say it but that sounds like a well thought out excuse to justify this to Hog fans.

That's what I was thinking from the get go, do we actually know for a fact his father is in bad health? Like before this news or even the earlier rumor?

Never mentioned once in the past.

When he blew up and went to Italy many people started getting in his ear.

Bet money he plays for Team Penny and then on to Kansas, and his father got miraculous medicine.

If that's the case, he should end up at FSU (30 min from home), Georgia, Florida, Auburn or South Alabama.

You never know though. If we come out and have a season like some of us think we have the potential to and make a sweet 16 run or deeper and get a guy in the draft it may convince him to come back on board. Never underestimate the value of wins on the court

My money is on him ending up at UK with the Slime Ball Calapari. After one year in Lexington and ~9 hours of online college credits, his family will all be in attendance Draft night at the "Hey Look at Me" show that Calapari puts on.

Just let the NBA do as MLB does. If a kid gets drafted high enough out of High School then let him make the decision to go pro or enroll in college for a minimum 2 years.

Lexington is only a little over 2.5 hrs closer than Fayetteville is. If he ends up at KY, then we know that he was full of shite.

I don't really get what this means. Going to Washington didn't hurt Markelle Fultz, and we're a much better team than them.

Sucks to see teams like LSU, Missouri and Alabama sign guys like this and us come up short (even if they did have to hire family members to get them)
