Football: team boycotted a game that caused their president to resign and caused their coach that was known for DUIs to retire. He was replaced by an alum that is known for losing.
2015: 5-7 (1-7)
2016: 4-8 (2-6)
Basketball: their previous coach bolted for Tulsa deciding that it was a better destination than Mizzery and was replaced by an alum that might not be able to compete on the high school level.
2014/15: 9-23 (3-15)
2015/16: 10-21 (3-15)
2016/17: 5-15 (0-8)
To top it all off, their fan base is so delusional that they think Frank Martin would make a lateral move and take on an even bigger rebuild job to fix their burning garbage fire of a program after he has gotten his current program rolling.

So take heart UT football fans, LSU basketball fans, Ole Miss fans and any other fans of SEC programs that have fallen on hard times. Missouri has firmly entrenched themselves as the doormat and laughingstock of the SEC for generations to come

The rumor I posted came from somewhere deep in the bowels of Mizzou's AD. It's likely from Martin's agent. Remember that when you all renegotiate his contract after the season.

South Carolina doesn't have a past to live in. 
South Carolina is having an average season by Mizzou standards prior to Kim Anderson.
Enjoy your little present right now. Frank Martin will be leaving South Carolina soon. It's just a stepping stone job for him. Kim Anderson's time is almost up and order will be restored. That's why you guys have to start all these pathetic troll threads about Mizzou and live it up now because you know it won't last much longer.

clearly the "bowels" feeding your rumor are full of shite - Frank got a new 6-year deal at Carolina April 2016.
...here's a few things MO folks need to come to terms with... $4.8M buyout after 2016-17 season
$3.5M buyout after 2017-18 season
$1.5M buyout after 2018-19 season
Martin is top 4 in SEC coaches salaries at $2.45M/year with built-in increases on outside compensation each season through 2022. that doesn't include the multitude of incentives/bonuses within his contract.
...and then there's the biggest factor in Coach Martin's success and future at Carolina - his wife, Miss Anya - who has been unabashed in her outward expressions of how much she loves living in Columbia and being part of the University/Community. don't mess with Miss Anya's happiness 04/04/2016
