Didn't appear so. It was during a timeout and I was watching the video board and the teammates starting freaking out and he dropped and an assistant was cradling him in his arms as he was violently shaking and stopped . Appeared he went limp to me and they hauled arse with a stretcher and got him out of there . There was no thumbs up from him

Hope like hell he's ok. And please, give us an update if you hear anything health-wise.

Apparently he finally gained consciousness when they were taking him to the ambulance.

That's great to hear. Seizure's are scary as hell, especially when you don't know the cause.

That's some scary stuff. Grew up with a girl that had them randomly - forget what the diagnosis is but it's one of those things where you just pray it stops and it isn't the end for them.

That sort of crap is scary.

First...I official on the side for when a crew is short handed in the area. I don't do it full time because I do not want to, but still enjoy being involved in the game....Anyway

At a game this season during halftime, my umpire was reaching to grab a powerade in the concession cooler. He instantly froze and started shaking and fell backwards. Once we got him on the ground he started to turn purple from the chest up. There was nothing we could do for him. Life flight was called and the paramedics at the game worked on him to attempt to resuscitate.

It is a very uncomfortable thing to watch someone pass like that. He had an aneurysm and there was nothing anyone could do. Life flight was called off because he was in cardiac arrest and they said, someone cannot be flighted in such a state.

It was a bad deal and I had to go through his wallet and find his daughters number and make that phone call.

So hopefully, he has had a slight history of something like this, which is why I asked earlier.

They are terrifying for those involved but as far as I know the events themselves are rarely fatal, of course if you are driving or something happens bc you are having one that is another story

I have had a couple in my lifetime likely bc of a surgery i had when I was 18 combined with other factors, each time I've just not remembered a thing and came to almost instantly throwing up then throwing up constantly for a while afterwards. It ain't fun

shite like that gives me chills. My baby cousin was born with a brain deformation that caused him to have seizures as an infant. Fortunately, his parents could afford to take him to Cleveland Clinic and they diagnosed his problem and had to perform brain surgery to stop the seizures. Little guy is still behind for his age group but he's slowly but surely catching up developmentally.

If they hadn't caught it when they did he'd have been a vegetable. (Babies can't endure constant seizures.) He's such a part of the family now that I can't even imagine life without him. He tried to arrest us all at Christmas this year (his latest obsession is old western movies).

My last class I ever took at Ole Miss, literally across the street from where the Pavilion is now, ended with a girl having a seizure in class. It was scary as hell. Glad he's okay.

Damn man that's terrible. Horrible thing to see. I saw two people pass in front of me on a beach in Gulf Shores from drowning. Screwed up my whole week of vacation. Life is so fragile.
