I heard that over the radio. Mens team I'm talking about. Almost all are freshmen. Ben Howland is going to be a beast soon. I think we are getting better. I'm realistic so making the NIT this year with such a young team would be a start.

Howland is a beast now. They have a ton of potential.

Yep young but he is smart, Bama big men hurt us and he adapted since. That is what I like to see from a brand name coach. Msu has two ways of playing now depending on who we play. You gotta love that.

yall definitely got a good thing going. im anxious for the day we put blair out to pasture and bring schaefer home.
What was thought to be a season ending injury got a second and 3rd opinion. When he said he could go we held him out a few games until it was obvious he could play.

We only lose Ready and add 3 4*s (Lil-Weatherspoon, Ado, & Brooks).
That will be 10 4*s on the roster next year. Only Kentucky will have more pure talent.

Kentucky is the third youngest. They are really good though.

Does Phat Phill have a twin who's a State fan?

They will always be one of the youngest, but (as we all know) they're getting the best high schoolers in the country ready to go one-and-done into the NBA. So many of UK's recruits are NBA-ready when they arrive on campus.
Will be interesting to see what these players can do for State if/when they stay until their junior and senior years.

We only lose Ready

I think he really wants to play with his brother a year.

But do start 4 freshmen though? If you don't it's because you're a bitch

Wait wut?
Has anyone challenged this yet?
I'm definitely not saying SC is younger than MSU .... but OP, name your players by class, don't force us to do it for you.

That's what the announcers have said in every game I've watched, but to break it down
Senior: Ready
Junior: none
Sophomore: Holman, Stapleton, Q
Redshirt freshman:Strugg
True freshman: Herard, Carter, Kegler, Wright, Datcher, Peters, Ado (redshirting)

OK, names not important but here goes for SC ...
Seniors 3 (3VL, 3VL, 3VL)
Juniors 3 (2VL/TR (Sitting Out a yr), 2VL (WO), TR (Sitting Out a yr))
Sophs 5 (1VL, 1VL, 1VL, 1TR, 1 walk on)
Freshmen 7 (No Varsity Letters, 4 on schollies, 3 walk ons)
11 players on scholarship
So SC starts 2 SRs, 2 Sophs and a true freshman.
SC subs with 1 SR, 2 Sophs and 3 true freshmen.
It is not unusual to see, even in close games, 3 freshmen and 2 sophmores on the court for the Gamecocks for extended runs.
Senior Sindarius Thornwell is the key to the team this season.
