Sucks, but there is ONE slightly good thing to come out of this. It will give him ample time to work on strengthening his upper body. Which needs it badly.

Unfortunate, I like what him and Nikko bring together in the future. Although the odds of them being here in 2 yrs. seem to be stacked against that ever happening.

Feel bad for the kid but I never saw what some of you have seen in him. I don't think he'd play for MoState. Regardless, I wish him well

I see it, but its raw. Good wing span and vertical.

There's lots of people with good wing span and good verticals who simply have no basketball skills. I'm not saying he has not basketball skills, I just don't see them as being on a P5 D1 level.

He just doesn't have the strength and stamina to be consistent.
The athleticism is there, so are ball skills for a stretch 5.
Defensively he is super raw and got out of position a ton. That's also pretty common for freshmen bigs.

I think he can be a similar player to Bowers. His freshman stats are pretty close. Bowers really developed from year to year.

I see a lot of upside in him if he gets stronger...I think the Bowers comparison is, at least by body type, pretty accurate. He looked gunshy the last couple of games for whatever reason but he was the only guy out there against Arizona who played with confidence; had a big dunk and was really aggressive.
