Posted this when we lost BFE U but no one agreed to firing him. I'll hang up and listen for the response on why we should keep him.

You don't really gain anything my firing KA now.
Also don't lose anything by firing KA now.

Not like the team can get worse. Let's find out what Fulford can do. We lost to 2 teams I didn't even know were schools

I think you can fire him before conference play now. If he starts conference play, he finishes the season.
Maybe us losing by 25 to Illinois will finish him off.

It's probably Shields as the interim.

What we gain is fans that might actually go to a game. It was embarrassing to see the crowd at the game.
Why are we running a 2-3 zone at the end of the game? EIU was shooting bad at the under 5 minute mark when we were running man to man. We switch to a full court trap then fall back into a zone and they get hot.
Every coach makes bad decisions, but he is terrible. He is not a P5 coach.
If he is fired and we go winless the rest of the season I couldn't be anymore pissed off.

The order of players that I want back
KP
TP both could be good 4-5th options
KJ needs to be playing more
FH, JB, RN, MS
Don't really think any of the rest help much. maybe keep them around another year, then show them the door in time for a big 2018 class.

He could be fired with an embarrassing showing against Illinois.
You're right, he gets into conference play and he probably finishes this out.

Somewhere in Texas, Tony Romo has something to smile about...

We can and should.
I don't care if it "does no good" or we don't have a sensible interim or whatever other reason there is.
Fire this motherfricker NOW!

Put me down for "it would do no good" but only for the team's success this year. Firing before the conference games would let any coaching prospects know that we'll be accepting applications soon...for sure!
Might give more warning than waiting until the season is over and allow them time to watch our team and develop ideas.
Even that may do little good, but it sure won't hurt a damned thing. As my dear Daddy used to say, "You can't spoil a rotten egg...unless you break the shell and shite in it."

It makes no sense to fire him. Things are embarrassing. It would take a really really embarrassing act of incompetence to fire him mid-season.
Didn't Fischer do something wrong (obviously he did many), but wasn't there something specific he did in his final game?
There has to be something like that to happen to fire him now.
Too many reasons to let this play out till the end.

Can't figure out what anyone would be holding onto at this point.
He's, literally, the worst basketball coach in Mizzou Basketball history.
Just cut bait now

Some have mentioned it.
The guy has never coached a conference game with his own roster. That's not the only reason.
Yeah, yeah. What we've seen is a mess.
There's ways to do this, and there's ways to not do it. Bombing him now is not the way to do it. That's couch general stuff.
