On a scale of 1-10, how much shite will Bama get once Saban retires?

I'm thinking it's gonna be a hard 9. Maybe 10. They won't care but it will make us feel better

We will all be dancing like Rebels and Ewoks after the Emporer was finally killed

Time is the one thing Saban can't beat.
We have no reason to be upset when that day comes. He has done a helluva lot for us.

That program will change overnight that's for sure.

Bama will be in tough because they will want to bring in "Saban Guys" or ties to him which will make things difficult for 10-20 years after he retires. These coaches will not be as good as Saban but the fans will expect near similar results.
See Michigan with Bo or Michigan Man, Paul Bryant Disciples at Bama for awhile, Paterno Bots at Penn State.

I guess Bama will have to settle for regressing to their mean of averaging 3 SEC Titles and 2 National Titles every 10 years.

Honestly I see Bama continuing to be very good for 10-15 years after Saban leaves. A lot of times when great leaders leave they make it difficult for those that follow to come in and continue to have success. That being said Sabana is a different sort of great leader, as he has built a sustainable program due to his visionary and forward thinking leadership. Saban and the Alabama brand were a perfect storm for decades of success. I mean look at how long LSU sustained being a winning program after Saban left after his short time at LSU.
Miles was a simpleton and managed to have a decade of success.
If people think Alabama goes away with Saban, then prepare to be disappointed.

10 but they won't care. They will just "live in the good old days" like they did before Saban and claim they have the best team even if they lost 6 games.

Fortunately, there will be a 4-5 year "Post Saban" period with 2-3 SECC and a Natty (or two) for us to get acclimated to failure....
