The injury to Colt McCoy came from the Nebraska game
Destroyed?
Actually a backup QB came a few plays from beating that Bama team
Call your university and let them know that you want to see a home and home with Texas
I cannot wait to see UT get their balls back
2017 maybe the year

What's up with both UTs always being so desperate for "next year"? It's pathetic.

Texas hasn't had a ten win season since that loss to Bama and has had four losing seasons.

Some people who follow UT football believe we should win the conference at least every year if not a national championship
I am not a member in this belief
I do believe a 10 win season should be accomplished every year and if that is the case than it has not been next year is the year
For the other UT they are a program very much like Michigan who has to rely on out of state talent
They need publicity to win in these times something unlike Michigan they can create

Bama had one great year from 93 to 2008
Texas has never had a 15 year streak of bad football

We had four losing seasons over that period. Texas has had four in the past seven seasons.

I sure hope you're kidding.

For us even a winning season could be considered a bad season when you play in a no name bowl or not finish ranked,
UT could have been playing in the St Petersburg Bowl this year instead of Miss St
We have too much pride to put UT in that bowl unlike most of the other universities

Also, we made the SEC title game four times over that period including one conference title. I agree it was down time post Stallings, but terrible football?
Terrible football is getting routed by BYU both home and away, putting up like under 10 yards in a bowl against Arkansas, and of course losing to Kansas who has won eight games in the past four years.

The SEC won 9 of 11 bowl games last year in a "down year" a record for most bowl games won in a single season.
Would you like to ban bet that the SEC will have a better bowl record than both of the conferences you mentioned?

Is Miss State the standard for Texas now?

I hate to break it to you, but the Longhorns are the laughingstock of CFB .

To me what I am embarrassed about the most
Is having a losing series record against West Virgina
This should never have happened and will change very soon
No university in our conference can have this

The standard of Texas is Texas
The UT in the minds of the people in our state
This UT may never be achieved but should at least most of the years

We are
That is fine with us because UT only cares about UT
Ask the people of Nebraska about their reoccurring burnt orange nightmare
Or the 2 universities in your conference who still consider us their most hated rival

If this were the case, why have you started multiple threads solely to try to troll fans of SEC schools on here?

Maybe Texas should revive the rivalry with Vanderbilt to try and get it back to at least .500.
Posted on 12/5/16 at 11:43 pm to DoreonthePlains
I do not even remember playing Vandy in football
If Vanderbilt was in the same conference I am sure that UT would have a winning record
