Ole Miss fans how do you feel about the future of Hugh Freeze?

This season ending like it did losing to Vandy and then getting blown out against Mississippi State at home.
The NCAA's ongoing investigation which likely will be concluded in the offseason.
The lack of talent you have on the defensive side of the ball.
Internal problems. It looked as if your players quit in the 2nd half after they got stuffed on 4th down.
Things aren't looking very positive for Freeze, heck maybe it was just me but he looked rough on the sidelines during the game almost as if he had just come home from a week long binder in Vegas.

It's real simple, if he gets a defense again in 2017 we'll be fine.
If not, then we'll be looking for a new coach this time next year.

Black Bear fans, was the DC who just retired perceived to be part of the problem or was it lack of talent/depth on that side of the ball more than anything else? Freeze in his PC indicated he would be reviewing his entire staff: anyone in particular in trouble? Your A.D., a big Freeze supporter, seems to be pretty quiet; is there anything going on behind the scenes between he & Freeze?

The NCAA is going to lay the wood at some point anyway.

If he fixes the defense he will be fine. He is making changes which are needed. This year was a storm of bad luck and poor defensive coaching. May take a couple of years but I still have faith in Freeze.
It would help if the NCAA would hand down a punishment. I don't even care what it is, just end the damn thing so we can move on.
It is just a dark cloud of unknown hanging over the program.

We won the Sugar Bowl to start 2016.
The year before that Foley at Florida kicked the tires and considered Hugh for the Florida gig.
That's the first Sugar Bowl we've been to in my lifetime... Freeze isnt going anywhere barring a show cause.

I believe Freeze has the potential to be a good coach. He is just in a little over his head right now with no easy way to chew his way out.

Good opportunity to bring new blood into the program. The talent is there. Just need a new coaching staff to pump some life back into everything
We've had hardly any staff turnover in the last few years. I believe there has to be some healthy change in order to not become complacent (i.e. What just happened to us).

He gets one year to turn it around drastically before I'll want him fired. I don't mean we have to win 10 games next year but effort and execution has to be light years better.
