So I believe our red zone woes are an Enos problem

If you remember last year vs toledo we couldn't score in the red zone because we had no run game.
This year we have a sub par line and when we got into the red zone we couldn't just run it in most of the time.
I've noticed when we get into the red zone we have about 5 plays we run.
The one we run the most is the austin speed option. Infact it's pathetic how obvious it is when we are about to run it.
If Enos can't just run the ball in from the 10 we can't score. He really isn't that creative in the red zone. He is amazing between the 15s (toledo last year)
But if we can't just line up, and run it in, he can't come up with a way to score.
I know they claim we have a red zone offense and then like 7 2 point plays we practice. I think the 7 2 point plays are our red zone offense. I like enos, but this is something he needs to work on.

It's an offensive line problem.

I don't think that's an Enos problem. We were not physical enough to knock people off the ball in the red zone so the run game would stall. Then we would have to resort to all kinds of misdirection or passing plays to get the ball in the end zone.

I think we could stand to trade in about 50% of our under center play action plays for some spread shotgun looks. Play action should be something you sprinkle in throughout a game at opportune times, not something you do more often than not when you want to pass the ball.

Its a lazy coaching staff that sucks at recruiting problem

Our offensive line is horrendous. It was obvious when we were having to resort to end arounds with Cornelius to punch it in on the goal line against Ole Miss.
We have what Michael Lombardi would call a 10/10 offense. We're fantastic between the 10s, but horrid in down-and-goal situations.
I also think some of that lies at the feet of Enos, especially when we derped it up at the goal line countless times in the Texas A&M game.
Enos is one of those hot and cold playcallers. When he's on (MSU, first half of Mizzou) it's a thing of beauty. When he's off (Toledo, second half A&M, second half Mizzou) it's a horror show.

I think it to be a Bert problem.
We've been more bad than good inside the 10 since he's been here.
His Arkansas teams have choked quite a bit in the redzone and in must do situations.

I think you basically answered your own inquiry. We've seen how well Enos can gameplan and call plays, he's one of the best I've ever seen at overall balance and putting his players in position to succeed based off their skill set (see Drew Morgan for instance). I think he's trying his hardest with what he has to work with, especially when it comes to this year's patchwork oline.
The only thing negative I can say about him is that he does get tunnel vision in short yardage and goal line situations from time to time; like he just wants to prove his team can overpower the other, even if it takes 4+ tries. It can also be twisted to point out that he really believes in his players pushing that extra little bit for him.

I came in here to say no shite sherlock. An offensive issue having to do with the offensive coordinator is pretty obvious to me.
Then the rest of the board chimed in and reminded how futile legitimate football discussion is on here.

We've had a horrible red zone offense since 2012, so it's not all Enos. It's probably been a mixture of o-line, inconsistent QB play, and panicked playcalling. The Toledo game was definitely the o-line and BA not getting it done.
