I'm assuming Herman is only willing to stay at Houston, because Strong will still be at Texas.
Why else would anyone stay at a group of 5 school? If he stays at Houston and has another 9-3 or worse year, his star's shine will start to diminish.

Strong has to be gone. Three consecutive losing seasons at Texas. One bowl.

Herman has said he can win 10 games a year at Houston and will only go to a program that can win national titles. $3 million in Houston with those expectations is nice until someone in the top 10 programs offers out the right number
