We are standing by live in Baton Rogue to get to the bottom of this curious anomaly.

Holy frick it's still getting better.

Saban processed every coach worth a shite in the SEC and now they all either have bums or coaches off the Saban Tree.
Petrino and Meyer both skipped town and have had their teams in line to make the playoffs this year, and in Urban's case other years has made the playoffs.
Spurrier retired, and Miles fired. Both NC winning coaches. And Chizik too. Tubby also had an undefeated season and he gtfo after realizing what was headed his way.

Gradual improvement every year, (other than the slight dip when the '09 class left) even when they're already at the top of the hill. Unprecedented.
That is the definition of reloading vs. rebuilding.

Everyone I know and love tried to explain to me for 2 years how Alabama was declining from somewhere around 2013-2015.
I did my best to explain how the secondary was about to get WAY more talented and the team was about to go on a BETTER run than they had already been on.
I did the same thing here.
Nobody believed me/us.
lofl at them.

One of these days, Saban will ride off into the sunset.
Bama fans will still live their lives vicariously through Alabama football, which means:
Bama brothers and sisters will no longer kiss as frequently (Alabama will be losing more often), and the rest of the country will no longer have to worry near as much about Alabama.
I feel deeply sorry for the next coach that follows Saban. I fully expect you Bama fans to burn his house down.

Looks like a case of one team benefiting from a down SEC as other schools consistently downgrade their coaching talent.

Saban is Greek word for "chews your coach up and spits out pieces of alvacado".
But, I'm no linguist.

CNS should have two more titles.

Well if you listen to some Bama fans, Hurts is going to end up ruining this streak. Should've kept Barnett around and we might be worth something this year.

I would add Sly Croom to that list
Also not mentioned are OOC coaches like Mack Brown, Tommy Bowden, and Bradie Hoke who had the wheels knocked of them after embarrassing losses to Bama.
