person B: ok, let's bet. if we win you stop posting for x amount of time. if you win I'll stop posting for x amount of time. deal?
person A: deal!
person A's team loses
person B: lol @ person A. now stop posting bet loser!
person A stops posting with the account he made the bet with
person A starts another account to continue posting with

One could also argue that because ban bets are against the forum rules, they are not valid.
I'll never participate in a ban bet, because they are stupid. Avi/sig bets are funny though. Welchers be damned.
