How would you react?

I would celebrate by drinking my best scotch (Oban) next to a warm comforting crackling fire in my fireplace. I would toast the Gods with eternal thanks!

Let's see what our superstar Athletic Director can do for Mizzou. It's time to completely reset. Time to utilize our AD.

Kim needs to go. It would be monumentally stupid to fire Odom.

I guess I'd have mixed emotions.

That's so true. After the last year, Mizzou needs a good ol' reset button.

Honestly, can we do worse? The only way we could do worse is to lose EVERY game. We're damn close to that lofty goal.

I honestly can't imagine anything worse than the last year. Social unrest on campus, shitty football team that boycotts, historically shitty basketball team. I say no...Mizzou cannot do any worse.

But if someone could find a way to be worse....it would be Mizzou.

KCMO

How could it get worse?

BLM could literally ignite Mizzou's campus with violent protests. Mizzou is actually forced to forfeit basketball and football games as well as classes. Students are attacked and injured. Missouri Governor declares State of Emergency. National Guard is called in to quell violence. Tensions rise which leads to the death of a few protesters and troops. Media goes insane and only covers story from one very anti-Mizzou angle.

The Southeastern Conference is forced to react. The SEC decides to part ways with Mizzou. Mizzou cannot find a conference to join and goes independent. Revenue dramatically drops because Mizzou is not a national brand and also due to steep decline in enrollment.

Mizzou eventually joins a Division II league. Mizzou sports never recover. Media celebrates. Rest of nation simply moves on. Mizzou is forgotten.

State funds are shifted to Missouri State University. Within 20 years Missouri State Bears football becomes premier Div I football program in Missouri. Mizzou begs Missouri State to schedule them.

Missouri State declines Mizzou.

It can always get worst. How did that mighty Top-10 defense from 2015 workout in 2016? I wish I had a dollar for every Kool-Aid drinker that said "our D would be the same...and if only the O was average".

I would really depend upon who the AD hired to replace them. Mizzou needs big splash hires to bump recruiting and alums/fans.

It can't really get worse than this year.

We are going to finish with 3 wins.

Our recruiting will be in the bottom two or three in the league.

Our attendance will be down again next year versus this year to be in the bottom 2 or 3 in total attendance and probably the bottom versus capacity and probably the biggest loss in attendance year over year.

We will be doing something new on defense again versus the previous year or will have a new D coordinator or both.

We're looking at a third straight year of not going to a bowl game next year.

We will finish last in the weakest P5 division in the country.

Anything I missed?

We'll be scouting Marching Mizzou and the science club for a kicker.

An average soccer player would have a higher percentage.

We can't stop there. We HAVE to fire the administration because they have been idiots for as long as I've been associated with Mizzou (long time). Like all of them. Right now. And then we should fire the fans cause they suk. Then we can start making some fuking progress dammit
