If this is the Top 8 in the CFP talks this week, I would take LSU at 50% or better in all games except Alabama.

Week 12 CFP Rankings

1 Alabama
2 Ohio State
3 Michigan
4 Clemson
5 Louisville
6 Washington
7 Wisconsin
8 Penn State

Tigers have 3 losses
2 points to Wisconsin in a veritable home game for the Badgers
5 points to Auburn in a home game for Auburn
10 points to Alabama

I am pretty sure the Bear never beat Tennessee when Neyland was coaching there. The Bear was great but Neyland may have been better head to head. Until Saban leaves Alabama we will not fully appreciate how good some of the SEC coaches are just because they are unable to beat Saban.

Just getting tired of all this "B1G is best" this season by the talking heads because 4 teams are above average.

Bryant was 0-5-2 against Neyland, but that was while he was at Maryland and Kentucky, not Alabama. Neyland retired in 1952 and Bryant didn't start head coaching (at Maryland) until around 1946 or 47).

Wouldn't take LSU against Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson, Wisconsin, or Penn State. Would maybe take them against Louisville and Washington, and would more than likely take them against Michigan due to their QB being hurt.
