If Florida loses it doesn't matter what happens next. He's a dead man walking with a home coming loss to Muschamp.

Maybe not this year, but he'd have to win a lot of games next year to erase that.

He'd have to be done, wouldn't he? I mean, he took over a bad team, but SC just has a huge talent gap. He'd have to be outcoached by Muschamp, which to me seems unthinkable. I'd say fire him right there and throw the season away.

That SC defense is fool's gold. Watch the Missouri game.

Florida (Away) only permitted 260 yards in real time. (Zanders had a hundred yard drive against the entire second and even third string).

We also got 523 yards on offense.

Our offense.

Us.

We got 523 yards on offense against Missouri.

Missouri got 465 yards on South Carolina and moved it almost at will.

That's a 200 yard difference along with a 14 point difference.

They were the home team, we were away when we played Missouri.

The only way SC wins is if Appleby plays like hot shite. It's my X-Factor this week. Their quarterback comes in and balls, ours just comes out and throws three picks.

Missouri ran all over us in the 3rd qtr with our starters still in. The total yards just means Missouri sucks. SCAR also scored 31 points vs miz to our 19 and they didn't turn it over. I am expecting us to turn it over and to lose to WM. His team is rolling and ours is sitting in neutral. They will bring energy and intensity to the game. We will look like we have all year and lose. The defense will do enough to put us in a place to win but the offense won't deliver. I hope It's different but I doubt it given we haven't fix our problems up to this point. Have you notice there's been zero Buzz about this game from anyone? WM returns and yet there's zero anticipation for this game from the fans. That's bad.

Where's that crow. Appleby did enough to win and I think he gives us a slim shot of beating LSU. He's got to cut down on those mistakes. Hopefully the defense heals.

No crow necessary, I don't think.

We know that we can stuff the run (or at least we hope so) but the big thing is:

Eddie gives us a chance to win any game. He can kick it from damn near anywhere that's not really close. Next week we have to really gameplan, but these early games are KILLING me.

Gator fans calling in to the call in show on WRUF are pathetic today, WTF, we are playing for the East championship next week, what a bunch of negative losers.

Gotta cut the turnovers down. Shouldve been a blowout but ill take it

Appleby looked pretty good,WRs had some bad drops that couldve gone big.
I was glad to see the defense step it up with big names out.
Games like today show us what could be when we have consistency under center. Ive always said i like the design of the offense, we just need someone to soread the ball around

LDR had no business starting any games this year over AA, period.

I do have some fear that McElwain has a bit of favoritism in him. Look at how the RB position has been handled this year, complete joke. Will Grier was constantly shite on by McElwain, but LDR hardly did any wrong all offseason and into Fall camp. Very strange.

If Mark Thompson touches the ball again this year for any reason other than injuries requiring him to play my head might explode.

Agreed.

The RB monster needs to fricking go. Scarlett and Perine should be getting all the carries, with Cronk/Perine being the screen back/change of pace back.

Thompson is not ready for SEC play.

This isn't directed at anyone on the board, but...we've been stupidly pessimistic the entire year. Not just one or two of us, a lot of us. We have one Sunshine pumper and myself who have been at the very least optimistic.

Everyone had written Appleby off when we played an early game at Vanderbilt -- then we found out that Vanderbilt, actually ain't that bad of a team defensively.

That being said, Appleby should have been given more reps, more chances and not just against Tennessee on the road and an early game at Vandy, but if we didn't give him a chance, how can we expect our coaches to do so?

Meh... I was upset at Appleby for how he played at Vandy, but I honestly expected a slugfest, especially the week after Tennessee.

Then of course Del Rio comes back from injury and tosses INTs all over the place.

And then today, the offensive play calling shifted.

I'm just wondering what the hell goes through the heads of our offensive coaches every week.

It's still kinda weird, the playcalling has been...just weird.

I mean, this week we overcompensated protecting our quarterback when we should have done it last week.

But, I'm glad for the production, I'm happy but it just seems like we're not gelling yet.

If we have a quarterback in Franks, though, look out SEC.

We're gonna be hard to beat.

LDR had some good games too . We will see what AA can do in the next 2 games.

We are record wise on par with what most of us thought around 8-4/9-3. What's sad is that the team seems like it didn't even show up in the 2 loses. We did better then UT against every common opponent and it's not even close. We could end up doing the same with Arkansas.
