How many wins does the next coach have to have before he isn't fired after year 1

A series of surprising coach hires for one year. Each more surprising than the last!

Depends, does he lose and also recruit badly and fracture the team, or does he lose but recruits well and builds a team? W-L record doesnt give the whole picture, ask Butch Jones.

WTF?!?
So you gave me shite for wanting KA fired last year after he went 6-47 against P5 schools and finished last in the SEC both years he's been here, but when Barry loses 6 games in his first year you're okay with letting him go already?
frick you, JAG!

Nope. I'm just pointing out how irrational Mizzou fans are. It's year 1. My biggest concern about Barry is switching Defense midstream bc of a rough patch.

Sounds like he had to switch it to a simpler system.

That means the players don't have a good football IQ

Its not so much y'all have a bad defense, though it isn't great this year, its that your offense is only so-so and Kentucky really does have some offensive firepower.
The up tempo offense you have (which will almost certainly put up huge numbers against Arkansas) is going to leave your defense out on the field for long stretches of time if they can't make first downs.
Maybe your D wasn't as good as it was last year, but what defense would be great if they get tossed back out on the field after only a minute or so of rest?

The switch back to the single gap Tampa 2 is going to put Garrett and Burkett center stage. The defense is going to hinge around a true FR funneling plays to a guy that has struggled to get ball carriers on the ground.
Has anyone seen an updated depth chart that would suggest a youth movement?

The entire LB corps is an "or" this week so it seems we are going to find the guys that want to play.

Beisel and Garrett are going to get a lot of attention next Saturday. SC's leading receiver is their TE. 55 of SCs 147 completed passes have been to the TE position as a unit.

Rotated LBs by series last week. Expect more of the same.
