I have no problem with women serving. My grandma, my mom, and my wife are all veterans.

That said, I only support them serving in roles where the standards aren't artificially lowered to account for physical limitations. If they can pass the same standard as male counterparts, go for it. If not, don't jeopardize troops' lives to make a progressive statement.

TL; DR -- apply this thinking with common sense and we're golden.

That said, if I'm ever blessed with a daughter I'm selfishly steering her away from military service.

I'm fine with them in any role. But I'm not okay with physical standards being reduced. My aunt who is a retired air force intelligence officer that's very liberal, would agree.
