nit-pick-ing
1. looking for small or unimportant errors or faults, especially in order to criticize unnecessarily.
Any nits you want to pick? Here is mine:
So, Sean White only threw 5 incompletions, but 2 could have easily been pick sixes and 2 more were pretty bad decisions/throws.
What's up with that?
Just not able to get in a rhythm? Trying to do too due to limited chances?

the few times they got in his face he tried to force some things or didn't throw with good mechanics

It also seemed they were jumping the short routes and were susceptible to a double move, but we never tried it.
I assume because the score got out of hand and there wasn't need.

The two almost picks I saw looked to be misreads from either the QB or the WR. I expect that from FR and SO.

I know one looked to be a miscommunication on a route, which I usually blame on the WR

Yeah, one of the possible ints Tony looked like he was supposed to come back and didn't. The announcers made mention of it too.

Hard to say if Sean or Tony messed up. Tony definitely had his man beat deep on that play though (even without the guy coming back for ball)

The first one was definitely a misread or miscommunication. The second just looked like they jumped the quick slant. Not sure if the WR ran a bad route or they just anticipated it.

That was my only concern - White didn't seem to be making good decisions on passing plays. Fortunately it didn't matter, but it will down the road.

Sometimes an artist will do counter cultural actions to expand his experience. Sean decided to juxtapose limited passing with a novel experiment in running.
On the fourth down TD run, SW fulfilled his expanded artistic talent by allowing the canvas of the passing game to focus on the TD to Truitt while sculpting a run TD and establishing Sean as not only a painter who used his balls to create, but also his feet to sculpt Rodan like structures which will be exhibited in a sculpture garden near Jordan Hare

I see you've gone all in on this Sean Picasso White thing.

I would agree. He seemed to be off with his accuracy. If he keeps it up we will see some pick 6's in close games down the road, especially against bammer who has the best defense in the country in regard to scoring on defense. If he makes those throws against bammer, they WILL take it to the house. The wont drop them like Arky.

The first almost-pick was Tony Stevens running the wrong pattern as he's done a few times this year.
The other one or two were us deciding to throw short outs and WR screens when the entire Arky defense was up to the line because we were running it down there throat.
When the other team is bring everybody up on defense, go mid-to-deep, NOT short.

He very well may have run the wrong patter, but hte QB could also have thrown the wrong pattern too. I'd give Sean benefit of the doubt but it happens

Stevens still has problems catching the ball.

He should have caught the deep ball thrown to him, but he used the patented Sammie Coates "open hands method to let the ball come to the body" to catch the ball and, in doing so, the DB knocked the ball away.

Continue to be concerned with SW's deep ball...
