Making the sec semis? How could we ever do that? Oh wait we have in consecutive years.

Just relax, we couldn't break a press and blew a game and fox should get plenty of blame, like he is. He might even end up losing his job at the end of the year if things get out of control from here.

But you are extending that into dismissing totally reasonable beliefs. In fact, we still have a decent chance to beat Florida and make the sec tournament semis. This game doesn't just mean everyone stops playing.

And this is what is all boils down to, your last line.

I didn't expect us to make the elite 8 thsi year. If we made the tournament I would have been very, very happy. In fact I expected to make the tourney based on what we did last year and who we had returning, I think that was a completely reasonable goal, don't you?

So that fact that we lost this game to a FAR inferior team......BECUASE WE COULD NOT BREAK A PRESS for 2 minutes...yeah that's cause for frustration. It's not like they caught us off guard. It's not like it was 1 possession and they got us. It was the last 3 minutes of the game, with the game on the line, and we had NOTHING. We didn't draw a single play. Didn't set a single off ball screen. Didn't send anyone in motion other than the receiver. Our entire in bound play, on the other end of the court from where we're trying to go, was to run frazier into the absolute farthest corner and throw it to him for him to get doubled. Now that alone is bad enough, but what I'm really at a loss for words for is why we did it about 4 times in a row? Run the play; turnover. Run it again; turnover. Run it again; turnover.

Ummm..hello you dumbass...run something else! Anythign else!

Your revered "20 win season" coach can't even draw up 1 play to break a press which would have won us the game. Literally breaking that press one time would have won the game. But hey, let's just cherish the fact that we made the SEC tourney semis last year and ALMOSt made the tourney!

And Texas A&M and South Carolina and Florida and the SEC Officiating Office.

While we have shown glimpses of being a competent, sometimes scary team, we lack any apparent ability to hold it altogether when things go wrong. Our veteran coaching staff let a road game snowball completely out of control and had no answer when it did. Why, then, should I have faith that we could beat a team like Florida or South Carolina at home? Or, hell, Arkansas or Alabama? Because we did it last year with two senior guards on the team? Where's the logic in that?
