We know there's a lot of improvement and depth needed in spots on this team, and to take those issues on the road and lose a close one in the SEC West would not ruin the season.
This sums up this thread. arkie has zero championship expectations. They will always be a position group away from being "there". Auburn knows that it must check off boxes to get itself in a position to win the SEC. It isn't easy. But the goal every year is the same, no matter the coach, talent or schedule.

The goal is exactly the same at Arkansas.
Yes, we know where our weaker spots are, just as you know yours is at QB and coaching.

Oddly enough, I'm more worried about the LSU game pertaining to "Bert's hit seat". If he loses at home to an interim HC for LSU, there thill be some spicy pork.
I also agree, if we go on a road game and completely shite our pants in this game, it won't go over well. I see more of a coordinator hot seat than a HC hot seat (I'm looking at you Robb Smith).
I have a lot of respect for their Defense, but we didn't do too bad on Offense against Bama, so I'm not losing sleep.
I kind of like Auburn, and really feel no ill will towards their program at all. It's hate week, so frick 'em, but I like their posters here.
And for a shitty gif I never finished:

It's statements like this, that show how much Arky fans are out of touch with reality.
Having goals and having expectations, are two different things. Arkansas has a goal of winning it all every year but those aren't the expectations because you've never even won the SEC. Auburn has both high goals and expectations because we have shown we're capable of winning big.
Our QB is just as good, if not better than yours and most our coaches have National and SEC Championship rings. If those are our weak spots, our weaker parts are just as good as your strongest.

If your qb was as good as Allen, then your team wouldn't be kicking so many field goals.
That was a sad statement....
You'll see the difference come Saturday...

Their fans got as close as I've seen them to calling him out after the Alabama game. I got the impression they genuinely were disappointed with where there team was at in year 4.
I'm not pleased with the shiteshow we've had on our OL this season. I can't blame Pittman's crappy recruiting. Bert had to see the numbers were to thin.
Also, I was pissed to start 0-2 in SEC play and I'm not overly thrilled that his SEC record is 8-19. Frick, Nutt was around .500 in SEC play and we were happy to run his arse off. Bert better get his crap together or Hog fans will turn on him.

Bookmarked.. Just don't forget to come back here next week after the game and stand by your statements.

Bielema is not going anywhere and neither is Gus unless he loses to Arkansas, Georgia and Alabama.

I doubt you'll be here to review my statement being as how you'll be too busy trying to get gus fired...

You finished last in the West last year with the same QB you have this year. Bama looks unstoppable. A&M has taken a big step forward in their running game and defense. And we're the ones out of touch with reality?
The difference between goals and expectations is your LSU-like level of fan delusion. You guys were ready to fire Gus just a few games into the season and now you "expect to win a championship"?
Also, Bert didn't get an extension this summer after only winning 2 SEC games last year. That was Gus.

Series record against Auburn is 13-11-1 (Auburn), soon to be 13-12-1. Guess y'all haven't met your expectations quite a bit.

He got it the year before. When he went 2-6, but it was a 2 year extension and a raise

You mean they're ragging us for giving Gustav an extension for going 2-6, when they gave Bret one for going 2-14 his first two years?

It's a big game for the winner, considering the implications for SECW standings.
But does it really impact hot seat? Still so much season left to be played
