Who should Georgia hire after they fire Kirby Smart?

I predicted Kirby Smart would last 5 years. I figured it would take him awhile to degrade a 10 win a year program into something less.
Now, after seeing how bad he is as a head coach, I predict he will last 3 years.
I've seen this movie before. I lived through the Ray Goff years.
I'd like to see Georgia fire him now. Patience is for losers. Life is too short to endure this torture.
I think Hugh Freeze would be the most reliable choice. Somehow, at backwater Mississippi, he is out recruiting Georgia.
Thinking outside the box, Georgia should take a look at P.J. Fleck. He now has 5 years of head coaching experience at Western Michigan. This program never wins but is now ranked in the top 20 and it looks like they will finish the regular season unbeaten.

PJ Fleck went 1-11 his first year at W Michigan, I don't think you have the patience for him.

Freeze... Really?
One of these universities are being investigated by the NCAA. One is not

Kirby Smart wasn't hired to do more with less. He was hired to do more with more.
If things aren't pointed the right direction after three years, then we can have this discussion.

I'd also like to say if you fire a head coach in the first year, it isn't going to make good head coaches want to come to such a rabid fan base

In a few years when Kirby is winning the SEC, do us all a favor and delete your account.

Whenever i see someone spout nonsense like this, I'm reminded of a mantra I learned years ago:
Knee-jerk asshats who have itchy trigger fingers on Kirby are probably the worst sort of fan. All of DawgNation would be better off if you just turned your TV off until somebody at work casually mentions that UGA is in the CFP. That way you can take your shirts and hats off mothballs and jump on the bandwagon. You can tell other folks you've been along for the ride the whole time, but we both know the truth.
Demanding that someone excel at a new job immediately is insanity. There might be exceptions, like Herman or Fuente, but by and large you're likely going to be frustrated and disappointed.
Rome wasn't built in a day. Stop trying to burn it in one.

He was hired to win championships, but not necessarily in year 1. Richt could compete for the East. That wasn't enough though, so Georgia ripped off the bandaid. Time will tell if it was worth it.

exactly
but we just had a guy that said he would be gloating if Kirby was competing , not winning, for the East in year three.
wtf

I did too. Way to early to be throwing that comparison around. Lets talk again at the end of the 2018 season.

Not sure why we gave you 3 years. Patience is for losers...
Lew, let's go ahead and take care of this guy now.

I would like to bookmark this for after our win against UF in two weeks.

I can't speak for him, but I expect Georgia to make a big jump next season. Not doing so would be a red flag.
This year being a struggle was entirely predictable.
