Maybe other conferences don't understand, but YES I do pull for SEC teams not named Auburn when they play out of conference opponents.
I don't know WHY I do but I always have. I guess its because people say the SEC as a whole is overrated. In my opinion the SEC is by far the best conference top to bottom especially the West division.
Do any of you not pull for other SEC teams during bowl season or when playing OOC opponents?

2011 and the playoff system have killed SEC solidarity. I don't cheer for any other SEC team now.

With the Playoff, the SEC champion is in.
With the BCS, it was much easier to leave out a SEC champion.

I pull for SEC out of conference, because I debate it with fans from other conferences. I certainly pull for some teams harder than others.

My diploma says Alabama, not Southeastern Conference. So I just watch the games and hope for entertainment, I sure don't actively root for anyone else.

It depends for me. Normally I default to not rooting for SEC teams; but if they play another team I hate more I'll root for the SEC team.

If all 13 SEC schools other than Auburn could somehow all go 0-12 every season until the end of time, I would never get tired of it.

It depends on which SEC team it is and who they are playing.

For me, the S-E-C pride started with the 03 split title and Auburn 2004 BS. Then double down on that when ESPN ran with the narrative that UM-tOSU should play in a rematch instead of Florida. I enjoyed the nation getting arse rammed by the SEC during the title run because of this. It also helped that I dislike tOSU, Texas, Norte dame and Oregon.
The youngins won't remember it but there was a time that SEC was considered a step below the rest of the nation. It was to our advantage for the rest of the conference to look good.
2011 basically killed that for me.
