I would bet good money that you haven't watched Michigan, Ohio State, Washington, Clemson, or Louisville play more than one full game each (if that).
I know for a fact you haven't actually. If you had, you would realize that all five of those teams would give Alabama more than they want.
Bama has a great defense, but their offense isn't anywhere near the level of Clemson/Washington/OSU/LVille

I'm not saying LSU will win, but these gumps are pretty idiotic. When they meet, the game will go down to the wire as it has every single game in Tiger Stadium since Saban took over.
LSU's defense is far and away better than anyone they will have faced by then.

No, because bama doesn't have the #1 offense.
#1 ranked scoring offense by more than 3 points. So, can you recalculate those teams rankings as if they had never faced an offense putting up those numbers? TIA.

I don't care about the numbers. LSU will be ready to play when bama comes to tiger stadium. Bama will show up ready to play as usual too. LSU has the talent to beat anybody in the country if we get mediocre qb play. It will be a great game this year and I will be there. Geaux tigers.

A team needs to find a way to put a lot of pressure on the young qb, I think he'll fold if they do.
He's not a choker. His stats do go down when he is pressured, but he doesn't force the ball. He either takes off running, extending the play with his legs, or he throws it away out of bounds. He doesn't force the ball, and he has only thrown 2 picks. I think it is. I only remember 2 at least.

OM put pressure on him literally and figuratively and he made plays to get us back into the game. Before the season I'd have agreed but he's not the typical freshman in that regard; especially now that he's been through half the regular season.
There hasn't been much resistance from opposing defenses since OM though so I suppose things could still go south.

So far Ohio State has beat up on three cupcakes, put up an impressive performance against a decent Oklahoma defense and looked shaky against a good Indiana defense.
None of that exactly suggests being a level above Alabama's offense.
S&P+ factors in strength of opposition and pace of play among other things. Here are the current offensive standings:
1. Lousiville (Rushing: 2 Passing: 18)
2. Oklahoma (5, 7)
3. Texas Tech (40, 15)
4. Florida State (14, 6)
5. Ole Miss (33, 8)
6. Oregon (22, 33)
7. Texas (37, 65)
8. Alabama (7, 44)
9. South Florida (30, 60)
10. California (17, 67)
11. Ohio State (3, 46)
16. Washington (16, 15)
18. Clemson (50, 5)
Expect Alabama's offense to continue to improve now that the offensive line has jelled and Hurts continues to grow more comfortable with the offense.

Stats. Go make a fool out of yourself on the tigerrant moron.

And 3/4 of those teams don't have a defense that compares at all with Alabama's. Alabama can be beat by any of those four and others, just like every year. That isn't some grand revelation it's just the way football works.
If I'm forced to bet on the money line, only one team in that group would make me pause and consider not getting on Alabama.

No, you don't. You've already lost two.

They will be a very formidable opponent as long as Saban is there.
Oh, but the team that had more national and conference championships than anyone else in the conference before Saban got here, that had a winning record against everyone else in the conference before Saban got here, and that was the flag bearer for the conference before Saban got here won't be a formidable opponent when he retires?

If this is what we are going on, I want a hand written thank you letter from Vandy, State, Kentucky, and UGA for making their Defenses look awesome.

You realize this is their ranking AFTER they played Bama, right?

Number drop: 0
Number of home SEC games won by Auburn since 2014.
Until LSU showed up.

Only 2 of those listed have a higher total offense ranking...but good try.
