Why not have LSU play their OOC game on December 3rd? Not trolling when I say this, LSU will not be in the SECCG.
No bc that still involves LSu playing 3 road conference games in 12 days.

LSU got a free home game last season. Time to balance the scales.

Yeah I don't disagree with your deflection, I just think it will be impossible to move this game with the TV time already set.

National outcry of "player safety" much less palpable than just making A&M move their dumb Thanksgiving game they are about to lose anyway.

Where are you getting 12 days from? It is 13.

UForfeit :
*Refused to play on Saturday. At the time of their choosing.
*Refused to play on Sunday.
*Refused to play on Monday.
*Refused multiple neutral venues of their choosing on multiple days.
*Refused to play at an empty stadium of their choosing.
*Refused to play in Tiger Stadium.
*Only responded with "the game will be played in Gainesville. Period."
LSU made it clear it would do essentially anything to play the game, including picking up UForfeit travel costs ot flying in and out of ANY venue including Gainesville on the day of the game. This was expressed on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday right up to the point of cancellation.
Why would the fans of A&M, Georgia, Arkansas or any other possibly-effected teams think UForfeit give a shite about your travel fans or anything else? UForfeit cares about competitive advantages and nothing else.
The entire league should convene via conference call at the highest levels, force a forfeit, write a letter that shames UForfeit for being so arrogant and needy, and move the frick on. Easiest and most justifiable solution for a team that essentially refused to play a scheduled game.
frick UForfeit.

Clock starts on November 12th and stops on the 24th, that's 288 hours. 288/24 is 12

UF made a shitty move. That doesn't mean we have to move our game. Deal with it.

The only good argument against this would be if it costs television money. They made no reasonable effort to play the game and now both competitive balance and the schedules of other teams are being thrown into the grinder.
Think about how silly it would be for Florida to win the East if the game isn't played.
If it were played and LSU/A&M were moved to a normal Saturday I wonder if the Alabama/Auburn game could be moved to the Thursday? Neither team has a real game (looks like Auburn plays a cupcake and Bama has a bye) the week before.

Why are you arguing with me? Support the forfeit and move on. Or fight it and reschedule your game for UForfeit.

The only way it is 12 is if the LSU/Arkansas starts at like 11:30 PM.

UF should absolutely have to forfeit. They could have played the game and didn't. The problem is they have a hurricane as a scapegoat. I don't disagree, I just don't think they will be forced to take a loss for their terrible decision.

Jesus Christ you are dumb
Assuming the 1st and 3rd game start at the same time, we'll say 6:30 for our purposes.
The clock starts at 6:30 on November 12th and ends November 24th at 6:30.
That's 288 hours. 12 days.

I thought the Aggies were rich?
Posted on 10/10/16 at 11:46 am to Draconian Sanctions
Why would the clock end before the game even kicked off?
Posted on 10/10/16 at 11:47 am to EST
Texas A&M is rich. By far the richest school in the SEC. That doesn't mean all of our fans who want to see football games can afford the extra $$ to re accommodate travel plans, which is very expensive.

Then your very reasonable lament about "changing plans" is moot. Either everybody bends over for UForfeit or everybody doesn't.There is no solution that doesn't require a "victim". There is no other way.
It's a small price to pay to bail out Sankey and UForfeit, isn't it?
