I'd bet money the game never gets played. I'd also bet it doesn't matter in the end. Neither team wins out IMO

weather the storm until it doesn't matter is the current plan is my guess

Damn, Miles is gone less than a month and LSU has already lost all chest.

There isn't a team in the SEC that has to play 3 conference road games in a row. Yet, people are asking LSU to do just that, in only 12 days, on top of losing revenue.

Seems reasonable.

Oh well, Foley and Sankey should have considered that.

Boohoo. I don't see you crying for the money LSU and UF fans that had planned to see a game this weekend lost.

Why does Aggie fight so hard for their losing Tradition on Thanksgiving?

Aggie is 22-50 on Thanksgiving since 1940

For what it's worth, I'd be much more likely to go to the game if it's on Saturday in c-station. I am in Houston so it's an easy drive. Thanksgiving is a busy holiday for my family and there is no way I make it then.

I'm not even talking about the board. No one here has any say in what is going to happen.

I'm talking about the SEC office who's trying to strongarm LSU into playing on the 19th.

Is it really punishing Aggie fans? Figured more people would make the game on a Saturday than having the game on Thanksgiving day when your normally spending time with family. I maybe made 1 Arkansas vs LSU game, and I think those were on Fridays too?

Somebody is going to be inconvieninced no matter what of this game is going to get played. If it's not A&M its UGA. Besides, South Alabama has a bigger gripe than anyone. Their game is getting cancelled.

It isn't about the Thanksgiving tradition. It's about the fact that people have made plans to go to that game on Thanksgiving. Moving it will ruin those plans for a lot of fans. TV contracts is another thing to consider.

The thread is about our game, not about LSU. Bad troll is bad buddy.

It's 6 weeks away. Announcing the change now would minimize this impact, but we all know they aren't going to do that.

It should be exactly what LSU fans, who had to cancel flights and reservations the week of the game, were told. "Too bad".

I'm not an insider and I don't know shite for certain but I can tell you this.....if I were leading this ship and they wanted LSU to play on 11/19 in Gainesville I guarantee you I wouldn't make that decision until 11/13 when I know 100% that game is necessary...I also wouldn't even listen to that talk unless aTm is moved back. Yea maybe it hurts aTm and ESPN but F them....we've seen throughout this process that "SEC brotherhood" means diddly poo. Bottom line if you want the decision made before 11/13....then the date has to be something other than 11/19.

Now if UF wants to come play in BR on 11/19 we can make that deal tomorrow. In this instance I may even suck up the Thursday game with aTm.
