RT @DanWolken: Well, it confirms the NCAA is still looking for more or already has more - and resolution could take awhile.
Yeah, I think this is the part that should have your program looking back over potential infractions. If it wasn't 100% forthcoming in the initial investigation, I would imagine that would have negative repercussions.

That's what Dan thinks it means. Doesn't mean they have found anything they can prove. Yeah they are defiantly still be digging but can't prove it could also be the case.

The Black Bears need to hire Foley when he retires in Feb. so he can step in make the NCAA's take a knee like he just did with SEC Commish Shakey.

Shakey really came off as weak. Foley really showed that he could boss Shakey around.

You might want to research prior NCAA cases before you make an assumption like this one. They give immunity on a pretty regular basis and have for decades.

They said the same thing about Oregon. Oregon lost a scholarship.

This is no news. They keep digging. We would have heard if they had something. Wolken would be screaming it from the rooftops.
This is a witch hunt and wild goose chase.
The NCAA doesn't *need* anything else. Under their new enforcement criteria, 8 (or 7) Level 1 infractions is already enough for for them to take 30+ scholarships and a 3 year bowl ban.
They're still investigating because they keep finding new infractions. Ole Miss probably committed more infractions today.

Great news for Ole Miss

Obviously you know way more then our hired law firm that just hit the nail on the head with self imposed penalties and recommendations to fire all the coachs that got show causes.
I'm going with they know WAY MORE then you about what the penalties will be when they recommended our self imposed ones for football.

per the NCAA site there are numerous show causes for the sports that are involved. I do not see how coaches involved in the FB part wont also get show causes. 2 to 3 years is what I read along with 2-3 years probation.

Well the NCAA has already issued you an NOA with 8 level 1s. You're in fantasy land if you don't think the NCAA has/will find more

Hey DA, how do you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the NCAA did not investigate Bama over the Bo Davis thing?
Posted on 10/7/16 at 1:49 pm to msstate7
Well you better hope because I know the ED "safe space" says that our legal team is way off with 11 for 3 but they just got it right on all self imposed penalties and recommending ever coach to fire

You honestly think they're going to accept 11 over 3 just over the first NOA? You are a fool if you believe that.

What Ole Miss fans seem to keep missing, is they have already admitted they fricked up and have suggested their pussy self-imposed sanctions. The only question is if the NCAA agrees. They don't.

Was this for basketball and track or football?

Because August to October is 2 months. The NCAA doesn't take dumps that are shorter than 2 months.

You do realize that schools get to argue these and they aren't in stone right? I don't think you understand how this works. But keep guessing the NCAA has found more. The self imposed stuff was found by the OM compliance in the first place. NCAA hasn't found shite.
