Florida handled this like scared bitches, but the league office let them get away with it. It was obvious late Thursday/ early Friday that Gainesville would be getting very little of this storm. No reason this game couldn't have been played at some point this weekend.

While UF likely could have done a better job looking for an alternative earlier in the week, it is ridiculous to say they knew the weather wouldn't be an issue Thursday. The storm took a jog right, if it went that far left the eye wall could've gone just east of Gainesville and caused devastation. The state was under emergency and there are more important things than a football game diverting resources needed elsewhere. These things are unpredictable, you don't play around with Cat 3-4 hurricanes people.
