Dead. Last. 128/128.

In 5 games, Bama's opponents have been called for a total of 16 penalties equaling only 142 yards. That averages 3.2 penalties against our opponents per game, for a grand total of 28.4 yards per game. That's more than 4 yards per game fewer than the next closest team.

We're beating football teams and the refs all at the same time.

How many games before a holding penalty was called against an Alabama opponent? Has a holding penalty been called against an Alabama opponent? This thread might just ruin some theories with facts.

Steve Shaw discovered reverse psychology?

Don't worry. Nick will get that straightened out before the Tenn game.

Saving them for when you guys might need the help so they can look back and say "look we are 128/128 blah blah blah".

REC knows what they're doing and know most people are dumb enough to fall in line.

Whats the best way to handle this

1. call FBI and ask for investigation
2. call congressman and request hearings
3. call big 12 to gauge interest in LSU...err Alabama
4. threaten to sue Tom Ritter
5. post Memes about "corrupt SEC refs"
6. do nothing and work on resolving our own penalty issues

You realize that the stats posted in this thread directly contradict that hilariously clever meme, right?

That was the point of the OP's post.

What if we just understood that bad calls and missed calls are just part of the game? That each team has to overcome them, same as other adversities, in order to win the game. If we just understood that each team has sixty minutes to make enough plays to win or lose the game, then we might not obsess over a few plays and realize it is our fault as well for letting a game get to the point that bad calls from refs can determine the outcome. NAH, let's piss and moan about them.

In general, teams clean up their act and play a higher quality of football when they matchup against Bama. It's just what happens when you're the top dog, other teams give you their best punch.
